Potty Training
We would like to help your child during this important transition. Children who are not potty trained may still be admitted to New Life Community Preschool. Parents/guardians must dress their children in a pull-up with the understanding that New Life staff will not change them. Children wearing pull-ups to preschool must have an additional pull-up in their cubby at all times.

Dress Code
Preschool is a place of hands on learning so children should be dressed with that in mind. Many of our activities will be messy. The art projects will not be “cute” or “beautiful” according to adult standards, but they will be completely of the child’s own making. They will be the child’s product and not the teachers. This method provides a source of pride for the child and an outlet for his/her emotions. Process is more important than product for the child at this age.
Your child will also participate in many outdoor activities during large motor time unless extreme weather conditions do not permit it. Please make sure your child is dressed accordingly and comes to preschool with the appropriate outerwear. All outerwear clothing should be marked with your child’s full name. This includes boots, mittens, hats, etc.
